The architecture at Irish Creek will hearken back to a time when country clubs graced traditional Southern cities, serving as a vibrant and central part of the social culture.
Just as Davis Love III’s new golf course recalls turn-of-the-century architects such as MacKenzie, Tillinghast, Raynor and Ross, the homes gracing Love’s fairways will be modern interpretations of timeless Revival approaches, such as Georgian, Tudor, Italianate, Classical, Federal and Colonial.
Our architectural vision – which holds true to both the golf course and the homes – is to incorporate an endearing style that feels as though it has been in place for generations, and which will endure for generations more.
To help ensure that this vision comes to pass, homes at Irish Creek are subject to protective architectural guidelines that are focused on proportions, scaling and the appropriate use of architectural details. An architectural review board will be responsible for approving all residential exteriors and landscaping.
