Castle & Cooke is one of the nation’s oldest and most respected developers.

Established in 1851, the company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange until billionaire David H. Murdock acquired the company in 2000 and took it private. Now Mr. Murdock’s primary focus-his legacy-is the $1.5 billion dollar North Carolina Research Campus and the revitalization of Kannapolis.
